Tallis Re-imagined! – March 2024

Esther’s latest composition Into thy Hands was commissioned by Cantores Chamber Choir, Director Simon Harper, and will be performed by them in their Thomas Tallis Reimagined programme on Saturday March 9th at 7pm at Cirencester Parish Church, and again on Saturday March 23rd at 4pm at Holy Trinity Church, Minchinhampton.

Hereford Cathedral Voluntary Choir – March and April 2024

A Palm Sunday Choral Evensong at 3.30pm in March 24th at Holy Trinity Church, Bosbury includes Esther’s Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis for SSA sung by the upper voices of Hereford Cathedral Voluntary Choir who gave the work its first performance in 2022, and will be taking it to Nuremberg in April.

Hereford Chamber Choir – May and July 2024

Two Sea Pictures will be part of the Hereford Chamber Choir’s The Dymock Poets Re-Imagined programme at The Hay Festival on Saturday May 25th, and in Malvern Priory on Tuesday 30th July as part of the 2024 Three Choirs Festival.

Esther’s latest compositions – Two Sea Pictures (Troopship: Mid Atlantic and Driftwood) – will be performed by Hereford Chamber Choir as part of the 2023 Ledbury Poetry Festival.

This exciting project features WORLD PREMIERES of works by 8 composers, including the winner of the Hereford Chamber Choir Young Composer Competition.

The programme will also be performed at Hay Festival 2024 and Worcester Three Choirs Festival 2024.
